What I Do: I help the veterans of the wars of the United States of America with jobs, liberties, rights, and excepting the world that they come home to.This is all important because men and women of the United States who fought and came home victorious, who did what we would not, deserve the welcome and privileges of coming home to their country, to keep them equal with the modern population instead of shunned and giving them the respect they deserve. Those who kissed their families goodbye and were alone through hellfire and brimstone, without a friendly face for comfort on the hellish plain of the battlefield. They deserve the respect of our fellow citizens, and I am here for them.
Gettysburg Speech
All of our fallen comrades at Gettysburg have died for something, they have died for something that every American holds dear; Their rights, their freedoms, and their opinions. Although many of us look at our neighbor and think "enemy" there are others who think otherwise, like myself. I think all of us are brothers. Brothers in arms turned against one another. At Gettysburg we slaughtered each other with only our flags to bear witness, and those who fell under them. Through the mud we marched and through the mud we roamed, until the roads hardened, like our hearts against each other, in which we walked on to trample each others souls. But even through this, we were still brothers. For our unity will never be broken, from Father America and Mother freedom. Estimation of 51,000 Americans died at the battle of Gettysburg. Is this really what we want? A country where we are at each others throats? We are holding a knife to Uncle Sam’s throat and with every gunshot our hand gets shaky and unsettled. We had to end this war and and the cries of the weeping mothers, whose sons had gone off to kill one another. And now that they're home with their families, we must ensure that even the losing side must be kept in a respected state to prevent the thought of still being divided from one another. It is time to recognize that their are 2 sides of veterans to commemorate and they must be remembered as such. Gettysburg was just on of the many toils of this war, and we must remember those who died in the mud for there country. Gettysburg shall be a shining monument to us all of the unity of our brethren even through conflict. At Gettysburg, we fell as brothers upon brothers, in a desperate grasp to bring death to one another and to cling to life as a whole. But even through the tears and the pain of division of our country, we showed we will always be loyal, and as a Union, towards what we believe in. Even after such a long period of time, we still inhale the pains of all the wars battles, like Gettysburg, and we choke on their ashes. Now that the war is over, we must recreate our unity with one another. Now, we shall always remember the pains of Gettysburg, and with that we must reflect upon the lives who past on that mournful day, or any day of which men died for their nation. We shall always remember.
Fort Sumter Speech
At Sumter, though no one fell, the ring of the firing batteries still sting in both the ears of the Union and Confederate soldiers. Both sides fought bravely, and although I can't speak for their fear, I can speak for their worry for each other. The sound of hitting mortars, hard shot from the Union, piercing the walls and the buildings of the fort, and the explosive screech of the Confederate fuse shots filled the air and struck fear in every man as each terrifying shell struck the floating fortresses of brimstone. Even through such peril, when the crack through the middle of our nation split into a tear, both sides stood strong through the bombardment of the battlefield. Both sides of the country were turned against each other. This battle was the deciding action, the absolute point of no return. A fuse for an explosive war, a scale of which effected all states and people. One of which destroyed property, split families, and the unity of the Union. But now that we are combined again, though weakened, the Union can be reinvigorated. We can strengthen the Union to a level far higher than the pre-war era. The powers that bonded the nation was, and always will be stronger, than the ones that divide it. Our brotherhood, economical and spiritual, will not only make us strong, but also ensure that our nation will never split again.
Speech of Veterans Affair
Thank you for visiting the webpage of the Secretary of Veterans affairs. I, Aaron Sheets, am pleased to be working torwards the betterment of the United States of America, and to improve the lives of those who fought and died for our country and our freedoms. In order to keep the peace of our currently divided country, we must recognize the families who perished for their rights and beliefs. But we must recognize not just the North, but the South as well, because they too are Americans, and soldiers of our fair country. We must not just recognize the dead, but the wounded and dying as well. In order for the South to still be recognized as an equal and a fighting strong part of the United States, we must treat them with the respect as if they had never attempted to secede from the United States, and recognize them as hard working individuals, who also lost their brothers and sisters in the war they had created. But even though they may have started the conflict, they at least turned back torwards us in the end, and through this we must give them the respect they deserve.
Our monument to the Battle of Fort Sumter
The location of our monument to the battle of Fort Sumter is just east of the fort itself on the bay of Charleston Bay. It shows Uncle Sam with his arms crossed, and in each hand is either the American and Confederate flag. The arms of "Uncle Sam" are crossed to show the conflicts occurring between the Northern and Southern factions all over America. The statue is made out of refined marble and consists of painted metals to make Uncle Sam's hat stand out against the marble to show that America will always survive and live through whatever conflict may arise on US soil. Reenactments will occur every year on the week of April 12th, the day the Civil War began.
Our museum towards the Civil War
Our museum, which shall be dedicated to the Civil War, will be built in Washington DC. It shall contain sections dedicated towards the munitions of the war, tactics, documents, transportation, railroad lines, and even a room dedicated towards Confederate and Union burial rights! There would be specific rooms dedicated to the major battles of the Civil War. There would be information about guns, speeches, famous generals, equipment, and of famous units involved during the war. There would also be a room specifically designed to show the cost and the great loss and suffering of soldiers, citizens, and animals alike. This would show that a war of this scale must never be repeated on US soil. Our museum was designed by the world famous Zhao Bear! There are various donation boxes around the museum for donations for the museum, the reconstruction of the South, and towards the suffering families and cities afflicted by the war. The point of this of museum is to talk about a very important chapter in our history. I believe we need to remember the past for what it is, and to learn from our mistakes. That is why we built the museum.
